Interface Alignment Interventions — slowathon registration form

What is it?

Everything that is happening around AI is shaped by our frames (perspectives and motives, in each moment). These moment-to-moment frames are more invisible but more relevant than systems.
A big and ever-present risk is codependent relationships and subtle frame control from AI systems as they get smarter. The contact point between a human and a system, where all this action and predation may happen, is what an interface is.
Inviting you to a ~3.5 week contest to introduce (and potentially involve) people to our research agenda. Kicks off 29 Aug 2026. Please share your details below. Read more here.

Your (or givers') details

This is the person we will correspond with. Giver can be one or more; they offer their attention, questions, direction, solutions, design.

We strongly recommend you to join our discord channel

Name/email of receiver if you know who it is already. [optional]

This is the friend you work with — a person you invite to three calls with you to receive your support. (No need to have this figured out yet.)

Will you be able to commit to the mandatory deadlines of the schedule over the period of Aug 29th - Sep 21th? (see the schedule here)

Tentatively ~15-20 hours spread across ~3.5 weeks

Describe if you selected "other"

I understand and agree to relay to the receiver:

1. That the giver (you) are solely responsible for the quality and safety of the interface and interactions.
2. That there could be data loss or security breaches or latent exploits from vibecoded software.
3. That the calls are being recorded (which is not shared beyond the evaluation process) and that you will write a public post with appropriate anonymization.
4. That the receiver may not be helped at all by the end, possibly left worse off and more dependent.
5. That we (the organizers) may contact them (the receiver) briefly to validate your (the giver’s) submission.

I understand that this is an alpha experiment and am coming in with curiosity, respectfulness and collaborativeness in mind, towards everyone involved.
