Sales & Partnerships Manager — Bali

Bali, Indonesia | Field-based sales and account development

About IKAT and the role

IKAT CACAO works with cacao from Flores and is guided by Reciprocity, Regeneration and Respect. We are looking for a hands-on sales professional to grow our partner network across Bali, turn first meetings into active accounts and build lasting customer relationships. This is a role for someone who sells personally, follows through and keeps a disciplined pipeline, with scope to help develop sales and promotion teams as the business grows.

What you will do

• Identify and approach suitable cafés, restaurants, hotels, wellness spaces, premium retailers and other B2B partners across Bali.

• Own outreach, field visits, product presentations and tastings, negotiation and closing, from the first contact through to a clear next step.

• Develop existing accounts, follow up consistently and turn placements, including consignment, into sell-through, reorders and repeat business.

• Keep CRM records, sales activities and pipeline forecasts current; use clear priorities and reporting to organise your territory and weekly work.

• Coordinate customer requirements and order follow-through with the IKAT team, keeping partners informed and expectations clear.

• Help build and coordinate sales or promotion teams, sharing effective routines, product knowledge and practical feedback from the market.

What you bring

• Hands-on sales or partnership experience, ideally in hospitality, cafés, wellness, premium retail or consumer products, with results you can explain from your own work.

• Confidence approaching decision-makers, presenting products, handling objections and closing, combined with reliable account management and follow-up.

• Independent working habits and practical CRM, spreadsheet and pipeline-reporting skills; comfortable taking responsibility for your own activity and results.

• Professional English, clear communication with local partners and readiness for regular field visits across Bali, with reliable transport in place by your start date.

• Practical interest in AI tools for research, preparation, follow-ups and sales administration, with the judgement to check their output.

• Genuine interest in cacao, product quality and IKAT’s values. Team-building or promotion-team experience is a plus, alongside a willingness to stay hands-on.

How to apply

Complete the short questionnaire on the following pages. It takes around 6–8 minutes; please answer based on what you have personally done. We ask about field-work readiness, English, availability, salary expectations, sales experience, CRM, team leadership and AI use. Practical sales examples can be discussed in the interview.
