I am conducting independent research as part of a project exploring people’s perceptions of selective college admissions and possible innovation ideas to reshape the experience of applying to a selective college or university. By selective, I mean postsecondary institutions that admit fewer than ~50% of people applying for undergraduate admissions to a four-year institution in the U.S. (this is only about 15% of all schools!). I acknowledge there are scores of outstanding colleges and universities that admit most, if not all, of their applicants!

Note: This is an applied research project. Your participation is voluntary and there is no compensation, but I eagerly welcome people’s thoughts and ideas. The aggregated responses will inform the project and I may share the high-level findings publicly (anonymized, no direct references to your participation). I will be the only individual with access to the raw data, and solely responsible for analyzing responses and synthesizing findings.
