Itinerary Highlights:

Day 1: Singapore ✈️ Kunming | The Gateway 07/11

Activity: Touchdown at Kunming Airport (KMG). Private 4-hour transit to Dali. Do arrive by 1715HRS at Kunming Airport! If you choose to extend your trip earlier do allocate time to travel to the airport!

Stay: Dali Boutique Hotel – A comfortable, modern base to begin our journey.

Meals: Dinner Included (Local Welcome Feast).


Day 2: High-Speed Rail to Dali | The Erhai Welcome 08/11

Activity: 11:00 AM start. Cycle the Erhai Ecological Corridor, café hop, and hit the "S-Bend" waterfront.

The OTG Way: We move to the opposite side of the lake for the best sunset views.

Stay: Erhai Lakeside Stay (Side B) – Nestled right on the water for sunrise views.

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Included. Lunch not included.

Day 3: Lakeside Rhythms & Sunset Chasing 09/11

Morning: 9:00 AM visit to the Dali Old Town Market. Lunch at a traditional farmyard.

Afternoon: Free time or optional Ethnic Photoshoot (self-expense).

Evening: Signature OTG dinner with live folk dance and music performances.

Stay: Dali Boutique Hotel – Returning to the heart of the Old Town.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Included.

Day 4: Old Town Echoes & Naxi Flavors 10/11

Activity: 11:00 AM departure for Lijiang (1h 40m drive). Explore the Old Town, Sakura Restaurant, and Lion Mountain rooftops.

Evening: Community dinner featuring traditional Naxi Earthen Pot Hotpot.

Stay: Lijiang Boutique Naxi-style Hotel – Located within the historic quarter.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Included.


Day 5: The High Road: Tiger Leaping Gorge 11/11

Activity: 10:00 AM departure for the 8km trek along the "High Road" of Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Highlights: Halfway House, Dragon Hole Waterfall, and "Crazy Stone."

Stay: Lijiang Boutique Naxi-style Hotel – A cozy return after a long day on the trails.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Included.

Day 6: Outdoor Party at Ganheba 12/11

Activity: 11:30 AM departure for Ganheba. A 3km reverse-trek to reach our hidden campsite.

The Highlight: OTG Outdoor Party with a private canopy, BBQ, mini-hotpot, and curated music.

Stay: Lijiang Boutique Naxi-style Hotel – One final night in the comfort of Lijiang.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Included.


Day 7: Gateway to Shangri-La 13/11

Activity: 10:00 AM departure for Shangri-La (2h drive). Visit Napa Lake and the giant prayer flags.

Evening: The "Tusi" Chieftain’s Feast—a high-energy dinner with local Tibetan performances.

Stay: Shangri-La Tibetan Boutique Stay – Authentic architecture with modern comforts.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Included.


Day 8: The Pilgrimage to Feilai 14/11

Activity: 12:00 PM departure for Feilai Temple (3.5h drive).

Spirituality: Traditional Tibetan blessing involving Longda (prayer flags) and Jinfan (banners).

Stay: Feilai Temple Mountain View Hotel – Perched on the ridge for the morning sunrise.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Included.


Day 9: Golden Peaks & Return to Kunming 15/11

The Big Moment: 7:30 AM sunrise witness of the "Golden Sun" over Kawagarbo peak.

Afternoon: Explore Dukezong Town and head back to Lashihai (2h).

Stay: Lashihai Boutique Lakeside Stay – Immersed in the vibrant local café culture.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Included.


Day 10: Rail to Kunming 16/11

Activity: Transfer to Lijiang Railway Station for the High-Speed Rail (HSR) back to Kunming.

Evening: Final farewell dinner and overnight stay in Kunming city.

Stay: Kunming City Boutique Hotel – Modern luxury for our final night.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Included.

Day 11: Departure back home 17/11

Departure: Final breakfast in Yunnan. Private airport transfer to Kunming Changshui (KMG).

Meals: Breakfast Included. (Lunch & Dinner Excluded for travel day).

Flight & Meeting Information ✈️⛰️

Departure:
Do plan your travel such that you arrive in Kunming on the 7th of November 2026! Recommended flight is China Eastern MU5082. Depart Singapore 1240HRS and arrive in Kunming 1705HRS.
Return flight:
We will arrive back in Kunming on the evening of 15th November and stay one night until the 16th where you can choose to fly back to Singapore however there are no direct flights on the 16th! For this option the recommended route is China Southern CZ3416 to Guangzhou (Depart 1500hrs) and then China Southern CZ351 to Singapore (arrive Singapore 2300hrs) 2nd option is to stay an additional night in Kunming till the 17th November to take a direct flight by China Eastern MU5081 to Singapore. Depart at 0725hrs and arrive in Singapore at 1140hrs!
