Mugi is in active development, scheduled to launch in late Spring 2026 (keeping it vague because as every developer know, things happen!)

I'm looking for a group of learners to join the Early Access phase. As a member, you’ll be among the very first to use the app, play the games, and most importantly, help shape what it becomes. If you have any personal suggestions or feedback, I’d love to hear about it and update the app accordingly.

As a humble but sincere token of my appreciation, you’ll have full access to all of the app’s features for the rest of the year. My promise is that it will be a valuable and enjoyable resource for your Japanese studies. And if you plan to take the JLPT this year, I'm certain it will help you pass with flying colors.

To be fully transparent, Mugi will most likely transition to a paid model in the future. While I really, really want to keep it free forever, the reality is that this is a solo project that I'm funding and building myself. Paid subscriptions will help keep the app sustainable and the servers running (and real-life Mugi well-fed).

I hope you’ll understand and continue supporting Mugi even after the initial launch ❤️
