Hi there, and thanks for reaching out! I work with counseling students in two ways:
1. Formal supervision. If your program approves me as your supervisor, our meetings can count toward your practicum or internship requirements.
2. Mentoring and coaching. If you want extra support alongside your program, especially if you're not getting the quality of supervision you need or you're in an online program, I can help fill the gaps. We can sharpen your clinical skills, work through licensure hoops, plan ahead for licensure in other states, and get you ready to launch your own practice after graduation.
This quick form helps us both see if we'd be a great fit. It only takes about 5 minutes.
Format. We'll meet 1:1 over secure video, so you can join from anywhere in Idaho. I don't offer group supervision. I'm an LCPC and a registered clinical supervisor in Idaho, and I love helping new counselors build real clinical confidence.
Plans. Both options are a monthly subscription, not a bank of hours. The full plan is $350 a month and includes up to four 1:1 meetings each month, consultation when something comes up between sessions, and, for formal supervision, review of your hours and the supervisor documentation your program needs. If you don't need four meetings, the half-time plan is $175 a month for up to two meetings. Extra meetings are $92 each, and unused meetings don't roll over.
Payment and scheduling. Payment is made monthly, in advance, through PayPal using a private subscription link I'll send you. When we start, we'll set a standing meeting time that works for both of us.
Tracking hours (formal supervision). You'll keep a shared spreadsheet logging your direct client contact hours, and I'll have access so I can review your progress. No client information goes in the spreadsheet.
What Idaho requires for your LPC. You'll need 1,000 hours of supervised experience, with at least 400 hours of direct client contact and at least 1 hour of individual supervision for every 20 hours of direct client contact. Practicum and internship hours count only when they're supervised by your program's faculty or by a site supervisor your university approves. That means our meetings count toward your hours only if your program formally approves me, and getting that approval is up to you. Mentoring and coaching on its own doesn't count toward Idaho supervised hours, but it can make a real difference in how prepared and confident you are. Either way, your clients should know you're a counselor in training working under supervision.
Staying connected. For formal supervision, I'll need contact info for your site supervisor and a faculty contact, and I'll stay in touch with both throughout your placement.
