Apply to Ouroboros

A 7 week writing group for artists who write about their creative practice & inner life

If you create art in any medium and want to write about your practice, interweaving experiences from your inner life to craft a holistic picture of yourself, I invite you to join Ouroboros, my creativity writers' group.

Writing is a solitary act, but it doesn't need to be done in a silo. I will guide us through topics of discovering what we want to write, how to begin, and how often to write and release our work. We will also have opportunities to give feedback on each others' drafts. 

The spring season will run for seven weeks, from April 15 to May 31. The group will receive a mix of asynchronous lessons and discussion hosted on Notion with a few live writing workshops on Zoom. Live call scheduling will be determined by a group majority vote.

Pricing will be $225 for the first season, with limited scholarship pricing at $150. You can apply for a scholarship below. If you have your own offerings and would like to do a trade, please also note that in the form below.

This application is not an evaluation. Its purpose is to get to know more about you as an artist and to get a sense of your writing practice as it stands now.
Before you fill out the application below, please review all information here. Applications close at Sunday April 5, 11:59 PM EDT. Applicants will be admitted on a rolling basis and have 72 hours to complete payment.
