2026 Mary C Holdsworth Scholarship Application Form - Active Rainbow Girl

The Mary C. Holdsworth Scholarship financially helps Active Rainbow Girls and Majority Girls in Canada continue their post-secondary education, regardless of age.

This form is for Active Rainbow Girls in good standing as of Grand Assembly. If you will receive your Majority at Grand Assembly this year, please use the Majority Member Application.

Deadlines & Important Dates

All forms and information must be submitted no later than June 15th. This includes:

• Application (this form!) • Mother Advisor recommendation • Confidential Financial Form

Eligibility

To be considered for the scholarship, you must meet all the following criteria:

• Membership: Active Rainbow Girl in good standing or Majority Girl

• Post-secondary acceptance: Accepted into a post-secondary education program , including a degree, diploma, or apprenticeship program. • Completed forms: Application Form and Confidential Financial Form submitted with all supporting documents

There is no limit to the number of times a member may apply for a Scholarship.

Criteria

Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of academic and community involvement. Please review the criteria below:

• Scholastic achievement: Grades and academic performance • Service to Rainbow: Involvement and service to your Assembly and Grand Assembly • Other contributions: Extra-curricular activities, part time or full time employment and community involvement If two or more applicants are equally qualified, the Confidential Financial Form and bursaries/scholarships awarded may be used to help determine the recipient.
