Welcome to Cultivate at ARC

A curated outdoor picnic experience, thoughtfully styled against sweeping mountain and Berg River Dam views.

From intimate afternoons and long lunches to birthdays, proposals, corporate gatherings and special celebrations, Cultivate brings together beautiful styling, considered food and effortless outdoor entertaining in one of Franschhoek’s most unique natural settings.

Our operating hours are 7 days a week from 9 am to 7pm for the picnic setups. Operating hours may be adjusted seasonally or due to weather and ARC operational requirements. Each picnic duration is up to 3 hours.
Payment:
- We require 50% deposit upon booking to secure the booking and remaining balance a week before the booking. 
- Please note no refunds are issued on picnics.
Important Notice:
- Please note that a R60 conservation fee per person is payable upon entry to ARC of Franschhoek. This fee is not included in your Cultivate picnic booking and must be paid separately at the gate upon arrival.
- Big groups of 20 people or more may have an additional labour fee due to the increase in labour.

Personal Touches:

Each Cultivate package has been thoughtfully curated with its own distinctive aesthetic. If you’d like to add a small personal touch, such as adjusting the floral colour palette, we’re happy to accommodate where possible, while keeping the overall Cultivate look and feel intact.
