MUBI and Gay Times are proud to launch the Queer Short Film Prize 2026, celebrating LGBTQIA+ storytelling and the most exciting emerging directing talent from across the UK & Ireland.
Three short films will be selected for a special London showcase event in November this year, with the winning three directors receiving a prize of £1000 to contribute to their creative endeavours, and exclusive access to industry experts to help accelerate their filmmaking journeys.
The theme for the short film selection is 'Queer Life: The Beauty and the Chaos', and we invite you to submit your completed short film below.
