EGCA Fall 2026 Project Application

Welcome to the Emory Georgia Tech Consulting Association's (EGCA) Fall 2026 Cycle! EGCA is a student-run, cross-collaborative partnership that brings together Georgia Tech and Emory MBA and Ph.D. students to help pro-bono clients solve some of their biggest challenges. 
This fall, we're excited to share that five clients, B Corp, The Venture Arcade, AntaraCore Systems, Roots Down, and Georgia Tech Space Research Institute + Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines, need YOUR consulting expertise through an 11-week engagement from Monday, Sept. 21 to Friday, Dec. 4. The cycle will conclude with a virtual gala on a to-be-announced date where you will have the opportunity to present your work.
Please complete this form to help us understand your background, skills, and client preferences. 
This information will help us build effective teams of 4 to 6 students.
If you are selected and placed on a team, we will introduce you to your main point of contact, who can help you draft a scope of work (SOW), non-disclosure agreement (NDA), problem statement, and deliverables.
We will also have you sign the SOW and NDA and complete an Expectations Form. Please reach out to your clients for an intro and kickoff call/sign the non-disclosure agreement by the end of the week of Sept. 21.
EGCA Summer 2026 Cycle Timeline:
• Applications Open: Saturday, September 12
• Applications Close: Thursday, September 17 at 11:59 PM ET
• Project Assignment Decisions Sent Out: Monday, September 21 at 12:00 PM ET
• Engagement Start and End Dates: Monday, Sept. 21 to Friday, Dec. 4
• Gala: TBD DATE
Things to Note:
• Pro-Bono: This is a pro-bono, non-paid student consulting opportunity.
• Time Commitment: This is a 3-to-5 hour per week commitment, potentially more depending on your client's needs. 
• Behavior: Represent yourself professionally and courteously. 
• Gala Requirements: You will be required to prepare and present a public-facing deck at the gala; please coordinate with your clients to ensure you do not share any sensitive or proprietary information.

Company 2: The Venture Arcade

About: The Venture Arcade will invest in Georgia Tech (and eventually Atlanta) startups via a venture fund that is currently being raised and will offer access to free office space at The Biltmore Innovation Center, access to Experts-in-Residence, access to Georgia Tech Core

Company 3: AntaraCore Systems

About: Early-stage startup founded in 2025 focused on building an intramyocardial ablation platform. The company is led by Dr. Neal Bhatia, a cardiac electrophysiologist and director of the advance ablation program at Emory University. ​

collaborations with industry, government, and other partners.
