Reading the archive: how structural engineers assess existing structures
This survey is part of a master's thesis at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU Construct). It is about one specific part of your work: reading the archive material for an existing building - old drawings, hand-written calculations, building-case files, before you can say anything about the structure.
It takes about 10 minutes. There are no right (or wrong) answers. I am mapping how the work is done today and am not testing anyone.
Your answers are anonymous.
No name, e-mail, employer or IP address is collected. Results are reported in aggregate; free-text answers may be quoted verbatim but never attributed. Participation is voluntary and you can close the survey at any point without your answers being kept.
If you have questions, input or similar about the study, please contact me: Salome Heidi Hedderich, s250783@dtu.dk. 😊
