Official Guidelines
Eligibility
Open to all members of the Tiprasa community worldwide
No age restriction — all ages welcome
One submission per person per month
Submission Requirements
The poem must be original and unpublished
Must be submitted in at least one of: Yapiri Script, Romanized Kokborok, or both
An English translation must be included
Maximum length: 20 lines
Submissions open on the 1st and close on the 25th of each month
Language
The poem must be written in Kokborok
Yapiri Script submissions are strongly encouraged — download the font and keyboard at yapiriscript.com/download.html
Judging
All submissions are reviewed and judged by the Yapiri Expert Panel
Judged on poetic quality, cultural authenticity, and correct use of Yapiri Script
As the community grows, judging will expand to include a community voting

Poetic quality and expression
Authenticity to Kokborok language and culture
Correct and creative use of Yapiri Script
Monthly Results
Winner announced on the last day of each month
Top 10 poems published and archived on the Yapiri website
All submissions preserved in the Yapiri Kokborok Literary Archive
Prizes
Winner: ₹500 cash prize + Digital Certificate of Excellence
Top 10: Digital Certificate of Recognition
The winning poem is featured on the Yapiri Script homepage for the entire following month
The poet is credited by name alongside their work
Prize Payment
The ₹500 prize is transferred directly via UPI or bank transfer within 3 days of the winner announcement
Winners will be contacted privately via the phone number provided at submission
Archive
By submitting, you contribute your poem to the Yapiri Kokborok Literary Archive — a permanent collection of Kokborok writing
Your name and poem will be preserved and credited in the archive
Important Notes
By submitting, you confirm the poem is your own original work
You grant Yapiri Script the non-exclusive right to publish, display, and archive your poem
Plagiarised or AI-generated submissions will be disqualified
The judge's decision is final
