Product Demo & Sales Rep

About the role

We're looking for an exceptional communicator who loves to sell, takes pride in the details, and fits a premium brand built on craft and Asian food culture. If you light up in front of people and hold yourself to a high standard, we want to hear from you.
Note: This is an on-call role — shifts are offered based on scheduling needs, typically a few times per month. Ideal for someone looking for flexible supplemental income.
What you'll do:
- Set up, run, and break down the KYUNU event booth with precision and care - Engage shoppers with confidence and warmth — driving sampling-to-sale conversion - Represent the KYUNU brand with polish and authenticity in every interaction - Handle transactions accurately and track sales - Relay customer feedback to the founder
What we're looking for:
- A natural salesperson — you're energized by people and motivated to close - Exceptional communicator who can read a crowd and connect with anyone - Fast learner: can learn the brand story and product specs, weaving it into language that sounds natural to you and the audience - Experience handling objections without sounding preachy or shaming food choices - Brand-aligned: you appreciate premium food, thoughtful design, and cultural craft - Detail-obsessed when it comes to booth setup, presentation, and execution - Customer service is your baseline, not your ceiling - Reliable, punctual, and self-directed - Prior market, retail, or food service experience a plus
Requirements - Age 18+ - Authorized to work in the US - Be able to stand for 6-8 hours a day - Be able to lift 50lb - Must have valid food handler's card and be trained in food safety - Available Saturdays 7am - 3pm
Compensation $13/hr flat, or $12/hr base + 5% commission on daily sales over $800 — your choice.

About KYUNU

KYUNU is a next-generation Asian food brand based in Las Vegas. We make premium Chuka Soba noodles — alkaline, egg-enriched, air-dried, never extruded — built on a process learned from a Japanese noodle master. Our vision is to build the next Chobani: a modern food company rooted in flavor, culture, and storytelling.

KYUNU was founded by Brian Shen, former Head of Product at ClickUp, where he helped scale the company from early-stage startup to a $4B unicorn alongside CEO Zeb Evans. Brian is a Harvard alum, a Wharton MBA, and a former brand strategist at mcgarrybowen, one of the top creative agencies in the world.

If you want to join a brand at the exact moment it's breaking through — where your work shapes the identity, not just supports it — this is that moment.
