Kashmir – The Venice of the East, Taj and Tiger

A Collection of India’s Most Remarkable Experiences
This 14-day, 12-night journey departs Seattle on February 24, 2027, and combines three of India's signature experiences into one itinerary: Kashmir, Delhi/Agra, and Rajasthan's wildlife and royal heritage. Travelers spend several nights aboard traditional luxury houseboats on Dal Lake, exploring by shikara, visiting the floating vegetable market at sunrise, sharing a meal with a local houseboat family, and touring Dachigam National Park and the Mughal gardens of Nishat Bagh.
From there, the group visits Delhi and Agra (including the Taj Mahal at both sunrise and sunset, Agra Fort, and Old Delhi by cycle-rickshaw), then heads to Bharatpur's bird sanctuary and Ranthambore National Park for two tiger safaris, before finishing in royal Rajasthan with Jaipur's forts and palaces and a stay at Samode Palace. The trip runs $3,100 per person (twin-share) or $4,200 single occupancy, including all meals, ground transport, domestic Delhi–Srinagar flights, entrance fees, and accommodation in heritage hotels, houseboats, and safari lodges — excluding international airfare and travel insurance.
