A Few Questions About Your Fertility Journey

This survey is part of a design course project — I'm building a tool to help women track how they feel emotionally during fertility treatment, since most existing apps only track logistics like appointments and medication. Your answers are completely private and anonymous, and will directly shape what gets designed. Thank you for helping with this.

Are you currently going through IVF/fertility treatment, or have you been through it in the past?

A
B

During treatment, did you ever find it hard to tell whether what you were feeling was a normal reaction to hormones/treatment, or something that felt like more?

When you think about how you feel (or felt) during treatment, would it help more to see it next to what stage you're in (like stimulation, retrieval, the wait) or would you rather just have free space to write, with no structure at all?

C

Did you find yourself needing to keep track of things like appointments or physical side effects from hormones during treatment? If so, how did you do that — a specific app, a notebook, your phone's calendar/notes, or nothing formal?

If this app also had a place to log your treatment schedule and get simple reminders (fully typed in by you, not connected to your clinic), would that feel helpful, or would you rather keep that separate from your emotional log?

When things were hard, what actually helped more — talking to someone who'd been through it too, or just having a private space to process on your own?

Is there anything about a daily emotional log like this that could feel unsafe, invasive, or make things worse for you — something it should avoid doing, or something that would make you stop using it?
