Help Us Empower Tampa’s Young Entrepreneurs
It takes a community to create an amazing experience for our young entrepreneurs! We’re looking for friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic volunteers to help make Tampa’s Young Entrepreneurs Business Fair – Holiday Edition a fun, organized, and memorable experience for our young business owners and their families.
Whether you can volunteer for a few hours or spend the entire day with us, we would love to have you on our team! No special experience is required for most volunteer positions. Just bring a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and plenty of encouragement for our young entrepreneurs. ❤️
🎄 Event Schedule
🛠️ Setup: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
🎄 Event Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
🧹 Cleanup & Breakdown: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Volunteer shift times will depend on the position selected.
🛠️ Setup Crew
Help us get everything ready before the event begins! Volunteers may assist with vendor check-in, directing families to their assigned spaces, placing event signage and decorations, organizing welcome areas, preparing sponsor areas, and helping with other last-minute setup needs.
👋 Welcome & Check-In Team
Be one of the first friendly faces our participants meet! Help check in young entrepreneurs, adult vendors, sponsors, judges, and volunteers. You may also provide directions, answer basic questions, and help participants locate their assigned areas.
🎟️ Welcome Table & Guest Information
Welcome families and guests as they arrive! Volunteers will help provide event information, answer questions, direct guests around the fair, and share information about activities happening throughout the day.
🎁 Holiday Toy Drive Team
Help manage our Holiday Toy Drive benefiting foster and kinship families through New Life Village. Volunteers may greet donors, receive and organize toy donations, keep the collection area neat, and help provide information about our holiday giving initiative.
🧒 Young Entrepreneur Support Team
Be an extra helping hand and source of encouragement for our young business owners! Volunteers may answer questions, provide directions, encourage nervous first-time entrepreneurs, locate an event organizer when assistance is needed, and help make sure our kids are having a positive experience. Volunteers should encourage our young entrepreneurs rather than operate or sell from their booths for them.
🏆 Awards & Judging Support
Help our judging team stay organized! Volunteers may assist with distributing judging materials, directing judges to booths, collecting score sheets, organizing results, preparing awards, and assisting with the awards ceremony. This position is separate from being an actual event judge.
🎤 Event Activities & Entertainment Support
Help us keep the event fun and running smoothly! Depending on our final activities, volunteers may assist with games, entertainment, activity stations, announcements, contests, and other family-friendly experiences.
📸 Social Media & Content Volunteer
Love taking pictures, videos, or creating social media content? Help us capture the excitement of the day, including creative booth displays, young entrepreneurs in action, awards, sponsors, holiday activities, and special moments throughout the fair. Content volunteers must follow all event photography and parent/guardian consent requirements.
🚶 Event Floater
Perfect for someone who doesn’t mind helping wherever they’re needed! Floaters may cover volunteer breaks, provide directions, check on vendors, replenish supplies, assist with activities, support event organizers, and respond to other needs throughout the day.
🧹 Cleanup Crew
Help us leave the venue looking great! Cleanup volunteers may assist with taking down event decorations and signage, organizing event materials, collecting trash, checking vendor areas, and helping with other end-of-event needs.
❤️ All-Day Event Volunteer
Want to be part of the entire experience? All-day volunteers will assist in different areas throughout the event based on where help is needed most. Breaks will be provided throughout the day.
