SOFTWARE ENGINEER

INTRODUCTION

RecruitiFi is a vendor management platform that connects companies with a global network of 20,000+ recruiting agencies. You'll work across a two-sided marketplace handling complex workflow automation, real-time collaboration, and integrations with major ATS / HRIS / Finance platforms.

Our stack is made up of Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, React, NextJS, PostgreSQL, and Redis. This is a small team. You'll own features from schema to UI.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own features end-to-end
- Participate in code review
- Drive architectural decisions and coding standards with staff / founding engineers
- Participate in the on-call rotation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant experience building production web applications. For most candidates this means 4+ years, though we prioritize demonstrated ability over tenure
- Strong command of Ruby on Rails or a comparable server-side framework
- Proficiency with modern React (hooks, component architecture, state management)
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL

- Remote: Fully remote company culture for seven years
- Retreats: Twice annual company team-building retreats to new cities each time
- On-call: We rotate a 1-week on-call role. The focus is business-hour triage, but you are also the first responder for rare off-hours emergencies. This ensures shared ownership of the codebase and prevents silos while keeping actual pages to a minimum
