One place to choose your next contribution.
Use this consolidated intake for The Bu1LD's research, engineering, open-source and builder pathways. Select your top interests rather than completing several overlapping forms. Existing applications and assignments remain valid; identify an existing project below so we do not duplicate your work.
Status: This form is open for interest and project-matching review. Individual placements require an agreed scope, supervisor or reviewer, and availability. Proposed fellowships, chapters and challenges are interest-only until their rules, dates and staffing are confirmed. No paid role, funding, compute allocation, authorship or university affiliation is guaranteed.
AI for New Materials Research Challenge #1: propose one useful materials study in a 2–4 page PDF, individually or in a team of up to three. Explain the problem, data, baseline, validation and what could disprove your idea. No completed model or laboratory experiment is required.
Planned dates: interest by 28 October; proposal due 11 November at 23:59 IST; feedback 20 November; showcase 28 November. Proposal Lab: 24 October, 18:30–19:30 IST (13:00–14:00 UTC).
This is event interest, not confirmed admission or a final submission. The organizer will confirm reviewers, available places and joining details before activation. Previous applicants do not need to apply again.
