*For residents of the London Boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth*
Join
Voicebox for a
free 1-hour online webinar for parents and carers of boys and young people of all genders in Richmond & Wandsworth.
This session helps parents and carers better understand the pressures boys and young men are navigating today, and offers practical ways to support them at home.
*This event is exclusively for residents of the London Boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth*
During the session, parents and carers will:
- Build a clearer understanding of the pressures shaping young people’s behaviour, drawing on what students shared during the Voicebox workshops.
- Explore how peer pressure and unspoken “rulebooks” influence behaviour, including how fitting in, gaining status, and fear of social consequences can shape choices and identity.
- Reflect on how home can be a safe base, where young people feel able to be honest, talk about pressures they are facing, and take off the “mask” they may feel they need to wear around others.
- Learn practical ways to support their child, helping them navigate peer pressure and gender expectations while maintaining clear boundaries, connection, and influence.
