Hi, my name is Excel Joab and this is your invitation.
For over 11 years, I've worked across the creative industry, building careers, developing talent and creating opportunities across music, media, brands and culture.
I've had the opportunity to work with brands like Boomplay, Chivas Regal and Arsenal, and with talents including Odumodublvck, Joeboy, Wizard Chan, Amma, TY Bello, Greatman Takit, CKay, Kold AF, Dre ForYourSoul and many others.
I'm currently the Senior Manager, A&R & Artist Development at AWAL/Sony Music International, where I work with artists and creative talent across West Africa.
Over the years, I've learned that talent is everywhere, but access, guidance and opportunity aren't.
That's why I created The INVITATION; a mentorship programme for young people aged 18–25 who want to build a career in the creative industry.
