Anxiety — 'I can't stop worrying about what this means for my child's future.'

Call a friend or family member who has kids

Consult a professional (doctor, counselor, therapist)

My child behaved in a way I couldn't explain — I just wanted to understand what was going on inside them.

I felt my child pulling away from me, hiding things, or not wanting to talk — and I didn't know how to close the gap.

I realized my own reactions or patterns were making things worse — and I wanted to change that.

I had a specific question about my child and couldn't find one trustworthy answer that fit our situation.

I could see something was off with my child's development or behavior, and I felt an urgency to act before it's too late.

It just came up recently (last few weeks)

Something is wrong — I need to find out what's causing this in my child.

Is this normal for their age? I need to check.

Maybe something happened at school or with friends that I don't know about.

I wonder if something about our home environment or my own behavior is contributing to this.

Yes — almost every time. I can't stop going over it.

Sometimes — depends on how serious it was.

I replay it, but I mostly think about what my child did wrong, not what I did.
