SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER – BIBLICAL STUDIES & ICT (1 POST)

Are you an exceptional educator ready to make a meaningful impact? Emerald Academy is seeking full-time, experienced, and passionate teachers to join our dynamic team. Under the direct supervision of our Head of Campuses, you will inspire and educate students in a nurturing Christian environment. Emerald Academy invites applications from a committed, passionate, and competent educator to teach Biblical Studies and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at the Secondary School level.

Requirements:

1. Be God-fearing and spiritually alert
2. Be well-versed in both Biblical Studies and ICT
3. Have previous experience teaching IGCSE.
4. Have formal training or strong academic background in ICT
5. A teaching qualification is an added advantage.
6. Demonstrate strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills
7. Be innovative and confident in integrating technology into teaching
8. Be willing to participate in morning devotions with staff and learners
9. Be flexible and willing to support extra-curricular and academic programmes
10.Be willing to offer one-on-one tutoring and exam support where required
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Biblical Studies and ICT at Secondary School level
2. Prepare and deliver engaging, syllabus-aligned lessons
3. Set assessments, examinations, and mark scripts
4. Support learners preparing for IGCSE examinations
5. Maintain accurate learner records and reports
6. Uphold the Christian values, standards, and ethos of Emerald Academy
Remuneration
1. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications, experience, and role responsibilities, in line with the Emerald Academy Salary Scale.
Added advantage:
1. Class B driver’s License
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
