This form guides you through your application: first you get the most important information about the place, then we ask you a few questions about yourself. There are no right or wrong answers. This application is for the winter semester 2026/27 at Flow Hills only and for first-semester participants. The programme at Flow Hills will be held in English this winter. If you would like to apply for one of our German-speaking campuses, please use our German application form.
Flow Hills is our youngest campus: a former hunting museum and festival hall surrounded by beautiful nature in the Upper Palatinate, close to the Czech border, on the grounds of the Nature Community.
The focus is on intensive community building, self-leadership and resilience. There is no crafts training at this campus in the winter semester 2026/27.
Language: English · Places: 14.
Living: Shared rooms (3 to 5 people) or single rooms (7 to 8 m²). On site: a large hall, a co-working area, a kitchen with cooking island, a living room with fireplace, a garden with a chapel. A pitch for your own tiny house is possible; there are no pitches for campers or vans.
Learning niches: community building, self-leadership, resilience, art and music, events, garden planning for the summer. No crafts training this semester.
Special feature: Before the semester starts, an ESC programme (European Solidarity Corps) with international volunteers runs during the set-up phase and adds an international dimension to the community.
Please note: The campus is rural and not accessible for people with reduced mobility. If you have questions about accessibility, get in touch and we will check individually what is possible.
Programme fee: 350 € per month (first semester).
Accommodation: shared room 50 €, single room 90 €, pitch for your own tiny house 40 € per month.
In addition, you share the food costs based on our gift economy, roughly 170 € per month as a guideline.
A deposit of 200 € secures your attendance and is refunded at the end of the semester if the attendance rules are kept.

Intensive weeks are periods with compulsory attendance. Short absences are possible with prior notice, in emergencies or for opportunities relevant to your Educational Letter.
Presence on site at least 3 weeks per month · active community service (cooking about 1 to 2 times a week, cleaning, caring for the shared spaces, about 3 hours per week) · taking part in community actions and festivals · contributions to Uniartcity's social media channels and occasionally film or documentary material · attendance during the intensive weeks · working on your own Educational Letter · valid health insurance that covers you in Germany for the whole programme.
