We’re building India’s first beauty commerce concierge, bringing Sephora’s shopping experience to your home. We’ll be the first lifestyle commerce for the top 1% (similar to Firstclub for F&B, CRED for fintech).
As Wingit’s first product design hire, you’ll shape the customer experience from the ground up. You’ll work directly with the founders and engineers to turn customer needs and business goals into simple, polished mobile experiences—from discovery and personalised recommendations to consultation, checkout, order tracking, and post-purchase support.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can move comfortably between product thinking, user flows, interaction design, visual craft, prototyping, and developer handoff. You’ll help establish the design language and working practices that future designers will build on.
• Own product design end to end: understand the problem, map journeys, explore concepts, prototype, test, ship, and iterate.
• Design intuitive mobile-first experiences across Wingit’s customer journey, including discovery, recommendations, consultation, commerce, and fulfilment.
• Work closely with founders, engineers, and operations to balance customer needs, business constraints, and technical feasibility.
• Build and maintain a coherent design system, interaction patterns, and quality bar across the product.
• Use research, customer conversations, product data, and post-launch feedback to improve decisions and outcomes.
• A portfolio showing shipped digital products and the thinking behind your decisions—not only final screens.
• Strong product thinking, interaction design, information architecture, prototyping, and visual design skills.
• The ability to simplify ambiguous problems, explain trade-offs clearly, and move from rough ideas to production-ready details.
• Proficiency with Figma and confidence collaborating with engineers through specifications, states, edge cases, and quality assurance.
• A high standard for craft, paired with the speed and pragmatism needed in an early-stage company.
• Experience designing consumer mobile products, ecommerce, beauty, fashion, luxury, or other high-consideration shopping experiences.
• Experience as an early or sole designer, creating systems and processes from scratch.
• Familiarity with user research, usability testing, analytics, experimentation, and accessibility.
• Experience using AI in research, exploration, prototyping, or production workflows.
