Are you an everyday regular person? Us too.
63 million people in this country are caring for someone they love. Most of them aren’t experts. They’re sons, daughters, spouses, friends and neighbors figuring it out as they go.
That’s who we want to hear from.
Everyday Regular People is a Gray Monster podcast series about what caregiving really looks like, told by the people doing it. What’s working and what definitely isn’t. We want to know the things you figured out the hard way. And the things you wish someone had told you sooner.
Here’s what it involves: a recorded conversation with us, about 45 minutes. We record audio and video. Episodes run on YouTube and clips go out to the Gray Monster community. Nothing runs without you hearing it first.
If you’re willing to share your story, tell us a little about yourself below. We read every submission and reach out to the people whose stories we think could help someone else.
You don’t need a perfect story, a dramatic story, or a tidy ending. Frankly, we’d rather you didn’t have one. We’re looking for everyday regular people willing to talk honestly about what it means to care for someone they love.
If the person you care for can’t weigh in on being featured, we’ll talk through what feels right before anything runs.
