The Plant Festival is an opportunity to create community around plants and bring everyone working with plants (gardeners, foragers, botanists, herbalists, skincare creators and artists) to share knowledge and passion for the plant world.

www.yukonplantguild.ca The 2026 Plant festival will take place at the Mount Lorne Community Centre on July 18th and 19th. The Yukon Plant Guild is looking for presentations (talks, guided walks, skills demonstration and hands-on workshops) on plant-related topics that are 1 hour 30 minutes in length. We offer a payment of $400 per presentation.
We will select presenters based on the originality, relevance and accessibility of their presentations.
There will be a maximum of participants for some of the presentations. Guided walks and hands-on workshops will be limited to 15 participants, skills demonstrations to 30 participants, while talks won't have a limit on the number of participants.
Should your presentation be interactive and offer participants take home item(s), we can cover costs for supplies up to a maximum of $200 for a hands-on workshop and $100 for a Skills Demonstration. These costs must be approved in advance.
