This is a step-by-step conversation, not a survey. You control how much you share and how you're credited. Take as much or as little space as you want on the topics that matter most to you. Everything is confidential.
You can skip any question. You can stop at any point. Nothing you share appears in the book without your explicit permission.
You don't have to do this all at once — or all of it. After a few basic questions, you'll choose which topic sections you want to answer, and the survey will only show you those. If you answered every question briefly, the full survey would take about an hour; people who write in depth have spent 2-1/2 to 3 hours. Short sessions are completely fine: do one section today, another next week.
Taking a break: if you close the page partway through, your answers are saved in your browser, and reopening the link on the same device and same browser will bring you back to where you left off. (This doesn't carry over to a different device, a private/incognito window, or a browser whose data has been cleared.) If you'd rather not depend on that, you can submit whatever you've done so far — every topic question is optional, so just click Next past anything you haven't answered to reach the Submit button — and come back later to add more sections, using the same name and email so I can match your answers.
