Lunar return sample survey

This survey is being performed by Norwegian Geotechnical Insitute under ESA contract to provide information and analysis in the area of lunar samples. The contract results will provide European perspectives to inform strategic planning and contributions to future lunar sample return missions. That said, we are also interested in perspectives outside Europe in this survey.
As we enter a new era of lunar exploration, the ability to return samples that represent the Moon’s diverse lithologies, particularly those currently missing from or underrepresented in existing collections, is a top priority for the global scientific community.
We are conducting this survey to collect community input on priorities for lunar return samples and to identify the key scientific questions that high-quality lunar return samples could address. The anonymised and synthesised results will be communicated to ESA and the broader scientific community.
The survey is expected to take approximately 10–45 minutes to complete. We have kept this survey flexible in that it adapts to your answers, and you only answer what is relevant to you. In addition, your responses will be saved automatically as you progress. You may return to the survey at any time prior to final submission. Although the full set is 25 questions, the "skip logic" allows many participants to finish quickly.
Please remember to click SUBMIT at the end of the survey.
The survey has officially closed, but we have left it open so more people can submit responses.
