Hi, I'm Mateo, a 5th-generation beekeeper sending swarm alerts from
beeswarmed.org.
Swarmed connects people who find honey bees with local beekeepers and removal pros. When someone nearby reports a swarm, or bees living in a wall, roof or tree, they get an alert by text or email and can take the job and contact the homeowner directly.
This fall, more than 40% of the reports I get are established colonies, paid removal work. I'm working out how to get those jobs to the people best set up to do them, and I'm curious to hear from removal pros. It takes about 2 minutes.
