Green Home and Building Survey for Golden

Survey Objectives

Sustainable Golden is asking for your participation in this survey to collect information on "green" features of buildings in our City. This information is needed to
1. Track progress towards the City's Sustainability Goals, specific to energy, water, and waste.
2. Inform interested citizens and support continued adoption of sustainable home and building features in our community.
3. Include your Home in the "Golden Green Building Map". Sustainable Golden offers to include green features of your home or building in the "Green Building Feature Map for Golden". You can see an example screen shot of this interactive tool below. Interested citizens will be able to select map layers (here: "Golden Buildings with Rooftop Solar") and individual buildings for technical information (see popup window). You will be asked for permission to include information about your home/building in Part 3 of this survey. The information included in this map is comparable to real estate platforms like Zillow or Redfin and does not include personal information.
The survey intents to collect matter of fact information about buildings in our City at this time. Please answer the questions honestly and do not feel pressured or judged to answer in certain ways. Responses will be used in aggregate, not in a personal manner, unless you provide explicit permission for Sustainable Golden to include your responses from Part 1 in the mapping tool.
Sustainable Golden will not share or sell personal data with 3rd parties.
