Open Thread Feedback Questionnaire

Thank you for testing the Open Thread MVP. Your feedback will directly shape how this tool is developed for the broader public. This questionnaire focuses on the two areas where we need the most insight: how you managed keywords, and whether the history view was actually useful.

Please be as honest and critical as possible. We need to know where the tool creates friction or fails to meet your expectations.

When you first installed the tool, did you feel the orientation gave you everything you needed to know?

Did you perform research with Open Thread? Why did you choose it?

How burdensome is the capture process? (Highlight & Capture, Context/Why This Matters Pop-Up) Did you run into any text you couldn't capture?

The Workspace provides an opportunity for you to expand on your research before export. How burdensome did this feel?

Not burdensome at all; I prefer having full control.

Slightly burdensome, but manageable.

Very burdensome; I wasn't sure what to add or how.

Unrealistic; I expect the tool to be more automated.

What Workspace features did you rely on most? (e.g., Link to Other Highlights, Citation, Post-session Notes, Resume Session, Export Thread to Markdown, etc... .)

Based on your experience, what is the single biggest gap between what this tool currently does and what you actually need?
