Technical Product Manager

We are founder-led and at our size that means you're in the room with them, on the calls, in the decisions, shaping the product and the pitch. As one of our first 50 employees, you'll play a crucial role in building on our culture rather than inheriting one. We argue to learn, not to be right. We ship fast, because working beats perfect. When we lose, we learn from it; when we win, we win together.
Your title is where you start, not where you stay, and there's room to grow into the work you're drawn to. Our team is 50/50 men and women with over 12 languages spoken.
If that sounds like your kind of team, we'd love to meet you.

About the role

We seek an exceptional, full-stack software developer with high technical competency and intellectual curiosity to join our team. To succeed, you must enjoy thinking in systems and additionally possess some combination, but not all, of DevOps, data engineering, or ML/data science work experience at scale. Most engineering roles at Wisy are customer-facing, and you must have the soft skills to design and articulate well-engineered solutions to ambiguous problems.
Location: US (Remote)

In this role you will:

• Lead technical discovery with prospective and committed CPG customers — surfacing risks around integrations, data availability, image quality, and security constraints — and turn them into PRD Lites that scope projects accurately • Translate ambiguous retail execution problems into concrete solution designs, building or contributing to live POCs when that's the fastest way to prove feasibility • Own end-to-end execution from pre-contract discovery through production deployment: governance, milestones, success metrics, and on-time delivery under real-world constraints • Serve as the primary customer interface — discovery workshops, steering committees, executive reviews — managing expectations and handling escalations • Partner closely with engineering to validate feasibility and reduce ambiguity, particularly where model performance meets customer expectations

What we value:

• Lived experience building enterprise software, ideally including non-deterministic, data-driven systems — you understand that a model at 94% accuracy is a product decision, not just a metric • People who can ship inside complex enterprise environments, not just design for them • Technical credibility with senior engineers, and analytical rigor in evaluating trade-offs and measuring outcomes • Surfacing "unforced errors" early — missing data, undocumented APIs, unrealistic assumptions — before they become downstream delivery risk • Domain familiarity with CPG, retail execution, or field sales operations

Required skills:

• 5+ years in product management with emphasis on enterprise software, and proven ownership of the full lifecycle from discovery through production and iteration • Strong technical background with hands-on exposure to software systems — enough to reason about APIs, data pipelines, and integration constraints without an engineer in the room • Familiarity with data science and ML concepts in real deployments, and comfort with the ambiguity of non-deterministic systems • Balancing speed and rigor in discovery — moving fast without compromising solution integrity • Working effectively in a dynamic, intelligent team while upholding Wisy's values (engineering excellence, insatiable curiosity, bias for action, ownership, agency, honesty, radical candor) • Exceptional written and verbal communication, from executive-level project updates to detailed iteration plans

No new work visa sponsorship (citizens, permanent residents, or existing H-1B/O-1/L-1/H4 EAD/TN transfers only).
