Purpose of the Study

Thank you for agreeing to participate in this study.

This research investigates whether AI-generated screenwriting can be considered art or not by examining concepts such as creativity, originality, authorship, artistic agency, emotional expression, and artistic value. The study examines how film industry professionals and filmmakers perceive AI-generated screenplays compared with human-written screenplays.

The researcher is also using her human-written screenplay, 'Mi Liv,' as a case study to explore human artistic work against AI-generated screenplays.

Definition of AI-Generated Screenwriting

AI-generated screenwriting refers to the use of artificial intelligence tools to generate written screenplay content, including dialogue, scenes, characters and narrative structure, in response to human prompts or instructions.
