The FORTHEM working team on student and staff well-being is pleased to invite you to a leadership-level exchange. The workshop will take place on 29 April from 13.30 to 15.00 CET (14.30- 16.00 EET).
The aim of Task 6.4 was to enhance the well-being of students and staff in the FORTHEM
Alliance by developing a shared, evidence-based toolkit. This toolkit is based
on good practices identified across partner universities and responds to the
growing challenges posed by rapidly changing higher education environments.
Through a collaborative process starting in 2023, the task force defined
well-being as a multidimensional phenomenon, collected over 160 good practices
that could be transferred, and sought to support institutional learning and
policy development related to well-being at partner universities.
Thisworkshop will not produce recommendations or good practices. Instead, it offers
senior leaders a structured space in which to reflect on a central question:
What
strategic decision-making space becomes visible when well-being is treated as a
leadership issue?
Using different policy logics (performance and risk; culture and values; governance),
participants will have the opportunity to position their own institution,
discuss trade-offs, and reflect on the implications of different approaches to
well-being.
The aim is to foster clarity and awareness at a leadership level, enabling each
institution to identify its own meaningful next step following the workshop.
Deadline for registration is April, 15, 2026.
A link to the meeting will be send two weeks prior to the event.
