HYPNOSIS: ARE YOU A GOOD SUBJECT?

A. I completely disappear into it. I forget I'm even watching a movie.

B. I get emotionally immersed, but I'm still aware of what's happening around me.

C. I start analyzing the story, characters, details, and figuring out where it's going.

D. I'm enjoying it, but part of my brain is still somewhere else.

E. I'm watching the movie, checking my phone, playing a game, eating something... I'm probably doing at least two other things at the same time. 😂

A. I'm there. My imagination takes over almost immediately.

B. I can picture it, but I know I'm imagining it.

C. I can follow along, but I need to understand where we're going.

D. My brain starts questioning the instructions. 😂

E. I don't really visualize - I experience things more through feelings, sensations, words, or ideas.

F. I get frustrated when I'm asked to visualize because I don't see pictures in my mind - or I feel like I'm doing it "wrong."

A. Yes! I've been hypnotized before, and it worked really well.

B. I've had a similar experience without formal hypnosis - meditation, daydreaming, driving, music, gaming, creativity, or something else.

C. I've tried hypnosis or meditation, but I'm not sure whether I actually "went under."

D. To feel like I'm not completely in control of myself.

F. It to feel pretty normal. I'm already kind of spacey.

A. Reject it until there's convincing evidence.

B. Analyze it from every angle before deciding.

C. I'm willing to entertain it without deciding whether it's true.

D. I enjoy playing with the possibility and seeing where it leads.

E. If it feels right, I can go with it - even before I understand it.

A. I commit to it and actively participate.

B. I'll try it, but I need to see results before I fully buy in.

E. I need someone to help me stay engaged and accountable.

F. I begin a totally unrelated project. Or three! 😂
