Appointment Request Form
Thank you so much for your interest in The Secret Garden! This form is for requesting appointments for either a Consultation or a Tattoo Appointment with one of our artists.
Please read each section carefully and try to be as thorough in your answer as you can. Forms that are filled out incorrectly can’t be submitted to our artists for review. We respond to request forms in the order they are received. You should hear a response from a member of our team within a week of submitting. If more than one week passes before you receive a response, please be patient and understand that this means we are trying our best to field all of the requests and will be responding to you as quickly as we can.
Please note: submitting this form does not guarantee booking. All submissions are reviewed by our team before scheduling. We aim to be honest and transparent throughout the process and some ideas simply don’t always translate to a tattoo or may not be aligned with your requested artist’s style and creative focus. If that is the case, you’ll still receive an email notifying that your submission was reviewed, along with recommendations on moving forward if they apply.

We strongly suggest that you have looked at our artist’s portfolios and familiarized yourself with their work to make sure you are teamed up with the artist who can best bring your project to life. If you haven’t already, you might take a moment to check out their pages on social media or on our website

Consultations are available for anyone wanting to have a chat with their artist before officially booking an appointment. These are typically 15-30 minutes long and if you choose to schedule a tattoo appointment at that consultation, it will be for a future date (meaning you shouldn't expect to be able to get the tattoo that same day).
Please Note: Coverups and Corrections always require a consultation before a tattoo appointment can be scheduled

You must submit at least 1 photo and can upload as many as 5. As much as the compliment is appreciated, trusting your artist to create a tattoo that you will like without any visual references rarely produces results that are as fantastic as they could be with a little direction. If there are truly no references for the tattoo you are wanting, upload as many photos of the various elements and styles you like as you can.
AI references aren’t expressly prohibited but they are often misleading so try your best to find non-AI references.
Where's this baby going? Side of the body and location please (ex. right outer bicep, left inner forearm, right outer calf, you get it). If you are considering more than one area, go on and list the areas you are considering and your artist can discuss it further with you if needed.
Please Note: If you arrive for your appointment and the design needs to be redrawn to accommodate a previously undiscussed placement, you will forfeit your deposit and be required to reschedule with a new deposit.

Do you have any existing tattoos that you would like this tattoo to be near or for this tattoo to be a gap filler? Basically: will this tattoo need to fit around or between other tattoos you already have?
If you are comfortable, please provide a picture of the area you are wanting to get tattooed. If you do not have any existing tattoos, scars, moles, etc in the area that need to be considered, you can skip this step.
Consultations are completely free but all Tattoo Appointments will require a Non-Refundable Deposit to be put down in order to reserve the agreed upon appointment time. Depending on the artist, this can vary between $50-$100 and will need to be paid to their Venmo. Specifics will be provided for you if your request is accepted and we recommend setting up a Venmo in advance so you can be prepared. Even if your request is accepted and you have been offered a date, your appointment will not be put on the schedule until that Deposit is submitted. Some artists may be able to accommodate alternative payment methods such as PayPal or CashApp but the preferred method is Venmo.
The Secret Garden uses exceptionally effective, safe, and professional numbing products. If you wish to be numbed for your tattoo, you must get it done in the shop prior to your service. Please let us know in advance as it adds time to your appointment and we typically will not have sufficient time if we don’t factor that in at booking. If you choose to numb, your artist will go over pricing and details when they reach out to schedule your appointment.
We cannot work on skin that has been numbed by alternative products as they are not all created equally and can result in an unpredictable outcome. If you choose to numb yourself, we will have to decline to tattoo you at that time and you will forfeit your deposit and be required to submit a new deposit in order to reschedule.
Please let us know what days of the week or times of the day typically work best for your schedule. Depending on the artist you prefer to book with, there will be varying wait times that can range from a week or two to a couple months so rather than specific dates, general days/times allow us to better help get you scheduled. It is also helpful to include a couple options if you have them (ex. Tuesdays after 4 or Fridays all day).
Each artist has different price structures that will be discussed but please let us know here if you have a budget in mind for this project. If not, it's fine to just leave this blank!
