Thank you for applying to join the
Bureau of Stabilization campaign.
This group will meet online on a Discord server every week, and the session will last around 4~5 hours. We'll be using Radmin VPN (a free, non-intrusive Lan-type network).
We will be playing the Lucidity System, an easy to learn d6 system that will be entirely automated on Foundry VTT, and its ruleset–together with a tutorial–will be provided on session 0 to all players.
Since we meet on Discord, a reliable microphone and internet connection is a requirement.
This is a fun, philosophical, and sometimes light campaign set in an eerie, unforgiving, and uncharted realm, where every step brings you closer to realizing that you don't belong there. This means that there will be room for both manic episodes and horrible deaths, as well as humor while making light of the inevitable just long enough to come to terms with the ineffable depths of the journey ahead.
The campaign style is heavily "video-gamey" in the sense that there are maps to explore more than half the time, and your character movement and physical interactions are vital to your experience. There will be instances of Theatre of the Mind, but mostly you'll have visual feedback.
The game systems, worlds, modules, automation, and player character sprites, are all created and developed by me. Some of the other sprites, most maps, most VFX, and some SFX are also by me. So there will be some sources available if sought.
This all means that every choice made, and effect caused in the world at large might be felt by players in other campaigns sharing the same world, and that the path ahead is often uncertain to me as well, as the universe will react to your actions.
I record every session's audio, and my own Virtual Table Screen. This is entirely for my personal later analysis and to maybe some day listen back to when writing a script to re-tell a story through a different medium.
If you have issues with that feel free to inform me since there might be something I can do about excluding your audio.
I expect this will take about 10ish minutes of your time to complete. There are no wrong answers for this survey. Be honest. Be yourself.
