Sacred Stories Interest Form

Sacred Stories groups are a space to share your story with other Christ-followers and grow awareness of self, God, and others while being known by the group. Sharing and responding to one another's stories is the primary focus, but group time will be book-ended by reflections, discussions, and other spiritual practices. Please respond by June 19 if interested in exploring if Sacred Stories is right for you. Groups start in late August/early September.

Your responses to this form will help the facilitators understand your interests and goals to see if Sacred Stories groups is a fit for you in this season. There is space at the end of the form to share your questions and concerns.

Please note that after filling out this form, you will be invited to have a conversation with one of the group facilitators to talk about whether the group is truly the best fit for you at this time. The facilitator reserves the right to decide if participating in this group or another experience is a better recommendation for you. Space in the groups is limited.

PLEASE CONTACT Leslie Harper, harperlpc@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.

The intention of Sacred Stories Groups is to have a place to name our longings, our griefs, our joys and also name beauty to create.  We need others to make sense of ourselves.

If a friend brings to you a difficult experience or a current struggle, how do you usually handle the emotions that come up for you?

What type of support and care (ie., professional counseling, strong friend community, spiritual direction, ongoing healing prayer, recovery group, etc.) are you currently receiving?

Most of us judge and shame ourselves and others quickly.  If judgement and curiosity were on opposite sides of a spectrum, where do you think you land?
