Third Room Community Cohorts 2026

Third Room Community Cohorts 2026 - Expression of Interest

Third Room Cohorts are small, curated groups of experienced operators — COOs, operational leaders, chiefs of staff, and aspiring operators — who come together for structured learning, honest conversation, and shared growth. Spots are limited to ensure quality discussion and connection.

Each cohort brings around 8 members for a year-long journey of 8 sessions across 2026, combining peer learning, mentoring, and expert insight. Sessions are facilitated by me drawing on me experience building and scaling Australian and global tech companies, as well as the deep network of experts, investors and founders connected to Third Room.

Sessions will take place in person or virtually (depending on the cohort preference / location), and each focuses on a distinct dimension of operator excellence — from scaling teams to leading through ambiguity, from decision-making frameworks to founder, executive and investor management.

The Value of Being a Cohort Member

Being part of a Third Room Cohort means joining a community of peers who “get it.” The value comes from three dimensions:

1. Learn from experience, not theory

Every session blends structured insight with lived experience — from Gill and from other operators who’ve scaled teams, products, and cultures. It’s practical, real-world learning you can apply immediately. It will help you avoid some pitfalls.

2. Build a trusted operator network

Members form lasting peer relationships that extend well beyond the program. The small, curated group creates a space for honest discussion, shared challenges, and mutual accountability — the kind of network that helps you think, grow, and lead better. It will build your confidence as an operator.

3. Accelerate your personal and professional growth

With Gill’s guidance, participants gain clarity, frameworks, and confidence for the next stage of their career — whether it’s scaling themselves as a leader, stepping into an executive role, or navigating the complexity of growth. Many members wil be supported through promotions and careers changes (new roles and new companies) - the cohort can ensure you're in the right role and getting the right package.

Why Employers (Your Companies) Support Participation - Elevating operators leads to faster, better scaling. Fact!

For employers, supporting a team member’s participation offers tangible benefits:

1. Improved leadership capacity: Participants return with tools and confidence to manage complexity and lead teams more effectively. 2. Cross-pollination of ideas: Exposure to other operators across the ecosystem brings fresh perspectives and benchmarks.

3. Retention and engagement: Investing in professional development builds loyalty and demonstrates commitment to employee growth.

4. Practical ROI: Cohort discussions often surface immediate, actionable solutions to current business challenges. Payback can be immediate.
