Personal Blueprint

Self-employed or business owner (including freelance)

A. Who cares — getting lost is half the fun. I'll wander, eat whatever looks good, and figure it out as I go.

B. I pull up the map immediately. I want to learn the transit system and hit the key spots as efficiently as possible. No time wasted.

C. I observe how locals dress and behave first, making sure I don't stick out. I follow the pre-researched, highly-rated route.

D. I feel uneasy — I double-check my bag, make sure I have enough water, and stick to the area around the hotel for now.

A. Easy — I float around, buy a round, crack jokes. Vibes over contacts. If everyone's having fun, I'm having fun.

B. I scan the room for the key players — whoever's running things or could be useful. I walk straight over and open the conversation on my terms.

C. I smile politely from a quieter corner. I'll engage if approached, but I keep a comfortable distance. No one gets the full story on night one.

D. These things drain me. I latch onto one or two people who seem approachable and stay close. Once I decide someone's "my person," I care deeply about how they feel.

A. "If the ground shifts, I shift with it." I won't die on this hill. I take my core assets and skills to a better opportunity. Flexibility keeps me alive.

B. "Nobody takes my seat." I mobilize every ally, every lever, every card I have. I go head-to-head if I have to. I need to be the one making the final call.

C. "Let the evidence speak." I gather documentation of their failures, build my case through proper channels, and protect my professional reputation. I win clean.
