Newport Advisory presents Resilience Talks with Mark Chandler - an engaging and authentic talk that explores resilience, recovery, and the power of the human spirit.
Join us as Mark shares his lessons learned in perseverence and hope through two real life experiences:
1. The uncontrolled pre-demolition collapse of Boilers 1 and 2 within the Boiler House at Didcot A Power Station (UK) in February 2016, where 4 men lost their lives
2. Acute Myeloid Leukaemia; a rare and incredibly aggressive form of blood cancer
Tickets are free, however we kindly ask attendees for a donation to Cure Leukaemia to support their vital work.
Cure Leukaemia is a pioneering UK charity that funds research nurses at UK blood cancer centres, giving patients access to treatments through clinical trials. Every 27 seconds, a life is changed forever by a blood cancer diagnosis. This support drives global significant advancements in blood cancer, impacting those affected by the disease.
