Police & Fire Fund Referral

Refer Someone to the Police & Fire Fund

The Broomfield Rotary Foundation Police & Fire Fund exists to support the men and women who protect our community — and their families — when unexpected hardships arise.

If you are aware of a Broomfield police officer, firefighter, or immediate family member facing a difficult situation, you may submit a confidential referral for assistance.

Situations where the fund may provide support include:

• Serious illness or injury
• Family emergencies
• Unexpected financial hardship
• Line-of-duty incidents
• Other unforeseen circumstances affecting the well-being of a first responder or their family

Referrals may be submitted by:

• Police or fire department leadership
• Fellow officers or firefighters
• Family members
• Local agencies or nonprofit partners
• Community members aware of a need

All referrals are reviewed confidentially by representatives of the Broomfield Rotary Foundation in coordination with appropriate department leadership when necessary. Assistance is provided at the discretion of the foundation based on the circumstances and available funds.

The goal of the Police & Fire Fund is simple: Make sure those who protect Broomfield know their community stands behind them.
