Pro-Bono Tech Project Scoping

Before You Begin

This form is designed to help us understand specific challenges within your organisation that can potentially be addressed through pro-bono professional volunteering specific to technological or strategy support . We are looking for well-defined problems where a skilled volunteer or team can contribute their expertise to create a tangible solution, resource, system, strategy, or deliverable.

Our Team at Humans of Volunteering will facilitate the process end-to-end - from understanding and scoping the challenge, to identifying the right pro-bono volunteer expertise, supporting the project through implementation, and handholding the organisation through the engagement.

Please describe the problem rather than simply the skill or support you are looking for. For example, instead of saying “we need guidance on scaling my tech base at my non-profit" tell us what tools do you already use, what technological challenge you are facing, what you currently have, what you have tried, and what you would ideally like to achieve.

Please be as specific and detailed as possible. The more context you provide about the challenge, existing resources, expected outcomes, timelines, and support available from your organisation, the better we can assess the project, define its scope, and identify the right volunteer expertise. This form is intended for defined, project-based challenges and is not meant for general manpower requirements, routine volunteering, donations, or requests for free products/services.

Please note: Submission of this form does not guarantee pro-bono support. Each project will be reviewed based on its clarity, feasibility, scope, volunteer-skill fit, and other relevant factors. Irrespective of whether your project is selected, we will communicate the outcome to you latest by 15 October.
