Fall 2026 PFTH Registration
The 14-week Playing from the Heart course for beginning violin runs from the week of September 7 to December 14, 2026.
Brookline classes will be held on Fridays from 4:30-5:30pm at the United Parish of Brookline (210 Harvard St, Brookline, MA).
Cambridge classes will be held on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm at University Lutheran Church (UniLu) in Harvard Square (66 Winthrop St, Cambridge, MA).
The last week of regular instruction will be December 14th, with a final combined recital for all participants being held on Saturday, December 19th at the United Parish of Brookline.
Please note: There will be no Brookline classes on Friday, October 30th or Friday, November 27th. There will be no Cambridge classes on Wednesday, November 11th or Wednesday, November 25th.

Which violin class will you be attending?
Tuition for the 14-week course and final recital is $840 and is payable through check or Zelle.
A deposit of 50% is required for each student registered. The remaining balance is due by August 24, 2026.
If you are registering more than one student, there is a 10% sibling discount. This will be reflected on your invoice.
Deposits are fully refundable up until 4 weeks before the course start date. The last day for requesting a refunded deposit is August 10, 2026. Any course withdrawals after this date forfeit their deposit.
In the event the course is canceled by the instructor, families will receive a 100% refund of tuition paid.
No refund of tuition will be given after the course begins.
Due to the nature of the group instruction, there can be no makeup classes for student absences. The instructor will provide any absent family with a summary of the class missed and any necessary materials.
If the instructor should miss a class for any reason, the class will be rescheduled to a day and time feasible for all enrolled families.
By registering, you consent that any audio, video, or photographs taken during the 9-week course and final performance may be used for publication and marketing purposes by Leaphart String Studio unless a written request to opt-out is received before the course start date.
