Normally, I like to hide the trigger warnings, but I do want to make sure that these triggers are out in the open. This book is heavy into hurt/comfort territory, and has a subgenre of dystopian. There is a mention of abortion in Witch’s Favor and, while I do believe this book tonally is similar to other Skadra Universe novels, the characters are teenagers/new adults (17-20) and a 12 year old surviving in a pretty dark setting. However, I don’t think we enter into hopeless territory with this one.
