SLC Founding Cohort — Application

Apply for the Build Programme founding cohort. You don't need a polished pitch or a validated business or impact model, but you do need a clear venture idea and time to develop it. You could be a brand new idea or something that is already going. Short answers and bullet points are welcome. Applying does not commit you to payment.

Programme essentials

Clinics: Six 90-minute Zoom clinics, 7–8:30pm NZDT: Monday 19 October, Tuesday 27 October, and Mondays 2, 9, 16 and 23 November 2026.
Independent work: At least 2–3 hours weekly, in addition to clinics.
Fee: NZ$250 + GST per venture, cofounders included.
Support: Clinic programme.
Applications close: 11 October. Applications are reviewed as they arrive.

Payment and refunds

Applying does not commit you to payment. If you’re offered a place, we’ll ask you to confirm by the deadline in your offer, no later than 14 October.

We’ll request payment only once the cohort is confirmed. Payment is due by 16 October.

- If you withdraw before the programme starts: you’ll receive a full refund.

- If you withdraw after the programme starts: refunds are not normally available.

- If Rowan cancels the programme before it starts: you’ll receive a full refund.

Your information

Rowan Yeoman will use your application to assess your fit for the programme and contact you. Authorised AI services may assist him in reviewing answers and preparing a summary; Rowan will make the selection decisions.
