Mark Your Leather is for guests 18 and older only. Please bring a valid photo ID.
You will use a working, professional tattoo machine with real tattoo needles and real tattoo ink to mark a leather item, guided by a tattoo artist at Mark Your Leather, Buffalo, NY. The machine, needles and ink are the same kind used to tattoo skin. The activity is for entertainment only, not tattoo training. The machine is used on leather only, never on anyone's skin.
Risks include, but are not limited to: needle sticks, punctures, scratches or cuts; exposure to blood if anyone is injured and related risk of infection; allergic or skin reactions to ink, gloves (including latex) or cleaning products; ink stains on skin, clothing or belongings; fatigue or strain from handling a vibrating machine; slips, trips and falls; and damage to, or an unwanted result on, the leather item. These risks cannot be fully removed, even when safety rules are followed.
I agree to: wear the provided gloves at all times while handling equipment; use the machine on leather only; keep my fingers and free hand clear of the needle; never load, touch or dispose of needles (the artist does this); turn the machine off and set it down when not tattooing; not handle another guest's equipment; report any injury, needle stick or reaction right away; and tell the artist about any allergies or conditions that affect my safety. The artist may pause or end my session at any time, without refund, if I do not follow these rules or cannot take part safely.
I take part voluntarily and assume all risks of the activity, known and unknown. To the fullest extent allowed by New York law, I release Mark Your Leather, its owners, artists, employees and agents from all claims for injury, illness, loss or damage arising from my participation. I agree to cover any claims, costs or damages, including reasonable legal fees, caused by my own failure to follow the safety rules or misuse of equipment. Nothing here releases Mark Your Leather from liability for its own gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or any liability New York law does not allow to be waived.
Tattooing permanently marks leather. Results depend on the leather and my own handling. Mark Your Leather is not responsible for damage to, or the look of, items I bring, or for lost, stolen or ink-stained belongings. Leather goods bought at the studio are final sale once tattooing begins.
I confirm I am 18 years of age or older and in good health, and have shared any condition that could affect my safety. If I am injured or become ill, I authorize Mark Your Leather to give basic first aid and call emergency services, and I am responsible for any medical costs. This agreement is governed by New York law; if any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
