Eligibility: A nominee is eligible to receive the award within their first five years of service
as a prevention professional or advocate in South Carolina. He or she must be an
emerging leader in the field, have new talent, innovation, a commitment for growth, high
potential and have displayed early achievement in the field. He or she must exhibit exemplary performance in the core areas of prevention: planning and evaluation, prevention education and service delivery, communication, community organization, public policy and environmental change, and professional growth and responsibility. The awarded nominee will receive 1 Jan Oglietti Training Scholarship for $500.00
