The 2026 CFO Techstack Awards celebrate the individuals, teams, transformation projects, and apps that are proving every day that the future of SME finance isn't ERP. It's Xero, with a best-in-class tech stack around it

Award submissions are open from June 23rd to 31st of July. Winners will be announced in August.

Stack Transformation of the Year

Every transformation starts the same way. A finance function held together with spreadsheets, a legacy system nobody wants to touch, or an ERP that costs more to maintain than the problems it solves.

Someone decided enough was enough.

Maybe it was the CFO. Maybe it was the consultant they brought in. Maybe it was a Finance Manager who'd been pushing for change for two years and finally got the green light. It doesn't matter who made it happen — what matters is that it did.

Stack Transformation of the Year is for the best before-and-after story of the year. The most impactful move from legacy systems to a best-in-class Xero stack — judged on the scale of the challenge, the quality of the solution, and the difference it's made to the business.
